Help! I am in search of a video I saw in the past. The video is of a girl sitting at her computer writing a college essay about the Great Gatsby. She continuously repeats the title of the book and author, F Scott Fits Gerald for the sake of making the essay longer. Each sentence is somehow almost the same but said different. Legit, no joke I almost experienced one. There was an armed robbery across the street from my campus, and we were immediately put on lockdown because the two armed men fled towards the school and eventually hid on campus. My sister was out of school at the time for an appointment, and I fired texts at her saying "DON'T COME BACK TO SCHOOL!" My classmates unfortunately did not take the threat seriously, and were shouting and laughing and playing games on their phones as if this were nothing but a drill, even though there were two very real armed men on campus! A swat team cornered them and then school continued! This happened during 1st period. We were allowed to go home if we wanted to, but school still proceeded as normal that day.

When are we gonna hit the restart on America? Not get rid of it, just restart and try better

It's funny to think that school shootings aren't as common as this video implies, but then I remembered the high school right next to the middle school I went to had a school shooting one day. School just got out and I was walking home when a reporter came up and asked me if I was a student at the high school. I said no, I was a middle school student, then she rushed off to interview someone else. Yikes. The best friend of a girl I knew was killed in the shooting.

From the people I know, there is a developing attitude that if you move to the states you yourself might make it but your screwing future generations over. Between the part where when you get old, healthcare removes all your money so you die in debt, and that there is something profoundly wrong with the schools, it looks like the opposite of a place where what you earn is yours. It looks more like a place where your set back to 0 at the end, and then your children are made to be to uneducated to have the knowledge they need to have control over their own lives. Its that last part thats truly terrifying. I know people who have been in both systems. The private schools are still abysmal. Its not working.

I went to a school where whenever a shooting or bomb threat was called in the kids who didn’t go to school that day were bullied for being pussies or ditching school for fun (yes, we had at least one bomb threat and the collective student response was “haha look at these pussies, not going to school when the FBI is looking into terrorist threats”)

When you're genuinely scared of shooting happening at tour school because your school district is infamous for having school shootings, and almost all the other schools in the districts have had to go on lockdown atleast once because of a school shooting scare or an actual shooting. @Alex M Yeah, if I remember correctly, a lot of them were found to have white supremacist beliefs too.

Basically teach your kids to seek help and then resort to violence to defend themselves if the school does nothing about bullies, that's how you stop bullies, then when the school suspends your kid for defending themselves take them to disneyland.

@Darth Awar hey, bullying is a HUGE problem, it's true, and we really REALLY need to work on mental health help, but we also need to stop perpetuating that these school shooters are the victims. Look into the lives of the columbine boys. They were not abused at home, they were not abused at school. I understand why you might believe what you're saying, but that's just a popular misconception, and we need to make sure we're factual about this.looking for kids who have superiority complexes and treat other students with disrespect, show a lack of empathy, etc. we need to make sure we're looking out for the REAL signs of shooters. Not that we can't also focus on fixing problems with bullying, but misinformation about this stuff is DANGEROUS

@Alex M Yep sure ok just because someone bullies dose not mean they are not bullied themselves either at home or school mate it is a cycle we can never fully stop it but we can dramatically reduce it!

Most school shooters were not bullied. In fact, starting with colombine, they were actually the bullies. Eric was SUPER popular and well liked. It’s people with power complexes who feel like they’re better than everyone else, or that they’re owed something. Mental health awareness and action is still INCREDIBLY important, but the myth of the bullies school shooter is pervasive. I only learned that it was mostly false like a year ago.
